My Best Friend (Poem)

My Best Friend, an inherent friend
Worst hidden in my earlier years
But best exposed in my later years

My Best Friend, a worst friend you were
When I couldn’t spell my name at five
A five star friend you now are
That as I tell the preceding
My proceeding lines makes this piece a mirage

My Best Friend, whenever I can’t kiss my pen
And smile at my book, I hiss
I miss you when I go a week with no scribble
Please, I go weak without you

My Best Friend, you piss me off
When I don’t feel you running my brain
A kill, like you running from me
Crude but unendingly refined by God’s grace

My Best Friend, I never knew my best capability
You are a cap that able my best
I miss my best friend but
Writing knows best.
